And apparently even when I adjust stuff like lightdof, depth of field doesnt really change and RGB colors make no difference to the overall game visuals. The problem arises when I start using presets, when they load, they all seem to have a common problem of making a lot of things too dark, saturated and my armor really shiny. And reshade boots up fine in game (although i get alot of yellow texts in the log, so Im not sure what it means). I am able to install hook and reshade files in bin and addons. I cant seem to get presets to work properly. Im rather familiar with modding but GW 2 seems so much more complicated because the game gets updates. I have used Wooden Potatoes and Tekkit's videos as guidelines (as well as instructions on the GWhook page) to try and install presets. Kinda late to this thread but Im so frustrated with this too. Can someone please let me know how to use any of the old preset files with the new reshade, or if that's not possible what should I be doing? txt file and re-creating it but the options aren't the same anymore. I even tried just manually reading the preset. I watched a few youtube tutorials but they all used outdated methods or didn't deal with presets. I just want to be able to use presets like this one: (I downloaded about 12 including one updated in 2018, no luck on any). So as far as I can tell dx912pxy and the new version of reshade are working properly. I had them before through Overwolf/SweetFX, I've re-downloaded the preset txt files and put them in my /bin64 folder, but ReShade doesn't see them and I'm not sure what to do now. It eventually worked and I can open ReShade in-game and manually select effects and adjust them, and i can see it affecting the game.īUT I can't seem to use any presets. Then I had to move some folders around to make sure everything got picked up. I did that, downloaded the new from their website.

I then had to jump through a bunch of hoops to get Reshade working again as it's now for Dx12. I finally got around to installing dx912pxy, and it seems to be working. I've put a decent amount of effort into this and am stuck so close to the goal, hopefully some kind soul here can tell me whatever last bit of info I'm missing.
